Copinha: 2 Clashes of the Quarterfinals are Defined
Two clashes in the quarterfinals of the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior are scheduled for Monday.
Faded and worn penalty outfits distinguish the team. Palmeiras, Goiás, Sport and Floresta, one of the suppressors of Copenha, advanced in the tournament (check the results below). Among those eliminated are Athletico-PR and Cruzeiro.
The teams classified on Monday will return to the field on Wednesday (18), for a dispute on Wednesday. The locations and times will still be determined by the São Paulo Football Federation.
Other clashes are scheduled for Tuesday (Know the games). At the end of Round 16, eight of the 128 teams that started the competition will remain in contention for the title.
From the second phase, the dispute is in the revolving system, with a single game – in case of a tie in normal time, the definition goes to penalties.
The Copinha final is scheduled for January 25, the anniversary of the city of São Paulo.
